Skills/ Experience required:

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on commercial law.
  2. Knowledge of commercial law, excellent legal research and writing skills, and proficiency in legal document management.
  3. IT literate.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Qualities:

  1. Highly organised, with an ability to prioritise their workload and be able to work to tight deadlines;
  2. Strong interpersonal skills, as the position involves extensive daily contact with staff members in the Legal and other departments;
  3. Proactiveness, with an ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and address challenges before they arise;
  4. Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately, both orally and in writing.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents such as contracts, agreements and NDAs;
  2. Collating materials from different teams, drafting of agenda, circulating materials to directors and uploading materials to company files;
  3. Assisting in the execution of documents;
  4. Managing and processing invoices;
  5. Conduct legal research and assist in the preparation of legal opinions;
  6. Providing general support to the Legal team as required.
