Panel Advisor - Adoption

Opus People Solutions, on behalf of Northampton Children's Trust, have an exciting opportunity for a Panel Advisor to join their Adoption Team.

Remote/Office based: Remote Working

Job Information:

1. To act as Agency Adviser to the Adoption Panel, providing advice to the Chair, Panel members, agency, and agency decision makers.
2. Work with the Panel Administrator to set the timetable for cases and agree the agenda for the Panel.
3. Arrange for members from the Central List to be invited to Panel meetings to ensure effective discharge of business on the agenda.
4. Ensure that the Panel complies with statutory requirements in terms of composition and quorum.
5. Quality assurance of reports presented to the panel to ensure completeness, liaising with Team Managers and Social Workers to address any deficits.
6. Quality assurance of CPRs prior to submission to the ADM regarding adoption decisions for NCT children, and liaising with Team Managers and Social Workers as necessary.
