Job description
Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator to join Kirklees Council's Social Housing Team. This is a full-time temporary role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
About the Role
- Carry out treatments for damp and mould in various locations.
- Undertake interior and exterior painting and decorating work.
- Maintain the highest level of quality in workmanship and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Efficiently complete tasks on time while adhering to health & safety standards.
- Keep accurate records and stay updated with industry best practices.
Requirements
- Holds City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Painting & Decorating (or equivalent).
- Has experience working in maintenance environments, including domestic properties and schools.
- Has knowledge of applying sprayed finishes and hanging wide fabric and paper lining.
- Possesses a valid driving licence and has access to a vehicle.
