Job description

Painter required in Castle Vale, B35 area to start today to work internally and externally on social housing properties. The duration of the contract is for 6 weeks but could be extended.

The Client

Our client is a reputable main contractor who operates nationwide and works alongside councils and housing associations. This contractor works on a mixture of kitchen and bathrooms, re-roofing, planned works and electrical re-wire schemes.

The Role

This role is working in tenanted and void properties. Main duties are glossing and emulsioning, externally and internally including handrails, skirtings, architraves, doors, walls and ceilings.

The working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm with a 30 minute break.

  • Previous experience as a Painter

  • Own transport
  • Excellent customer care skills
  • Own Tools
  • CSCS card
  • Must be able to provide 2 x checkable references if you haven't worked with Fawkes & Reece before
