The ideal candidate

Will be able to manage jobs, completing all decorating to a high standard including both painting and wallpapering.

You will be looking for a company to work for long-term and have an interest in developing yourself.

Normal working hours are 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Skills, Experience & Traits required:

1. Valid Driving License
2. Own transport is required; a van may be provided if necessary after 4 months of employment
3. Being a good team player
4. Great customer service skills and experience dealing directly with customers
5. Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure our customers are 100% happy
6. Excellent timekeeping and punctuality
7. Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
8. NVQ level 3 in Painting and Decorating preferable
9. More than 5 years experience of decorating residential and commercial properties
10. A great eye for detail
11. A passion for decorating with an excellent standard of work
12. Able to relate information back to head office in a timely and organised manner
13. Experience dealing with on-site issues and ability to adapt as needed

Responsibilities

1. Perform painting and decorating tasks such as surface preparation, painting, and finishing
2. Drive to different job sites to complete painting and decorating assignments
3. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns
4. Transport materials and equipment
