Location and Hours:

Monday - Friday, 7.00am - 5.00pm

Salary:

Up to GBP36,000 + benefits

Join the UK’s largest vehicle leasing company. Due to growth and the opening of their new state-of-the-art refurbishment centre, they are seeking a paint technician to join their vehicle reconditioning team in Coalville, Leicestershire. Reporting to the cosmetic team leads, the principal objective of this role is to ensure that vehicles are prepared in accordance with the required reconditioning standards.

The paint technicians play a crucial role, ensuring that vehicles meet specific performance and quality standards by enhancing the appearance of the vehicle's paintwork.

Responsibilities:

1. Applying primer, basecoat, and clear coat.
2. Preparing vehicles ready for the paint process.
3. Utilizing new booths, spray guns, market-leading products, and all required PPE.

Your keen eye and technical knowledge will ensure that vehicles within the cosmetic teams are accurately repaired to high standards. You should be proficient in using the latest methods and enjoy working in a dynamic environment where you can collaborate with a team to achieve their goals.

Minimum Criteria:

• Able to legally drive a manual vehicle in the UK
• Paint application experience
• Primer application experience
• Accident repair experience
• Masking and booth vehicle preparation
• Paint mixing experience
