Overview of the Role
As a Paid Social Account Director, you will be the senior strategic lead for the QuickBooks account, responsible for driving high-performance campaigns while leading and mentoring a team. You will develop and execute a paid social strategy that seamlessly integrates with other digital channels, ensuring maximum impact for QuickBooks' marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement best-in-class paid social strategies aligned with QuickBooks' full-funnel marketing approach.
  2. Performance-Driven Execution: Ensure paid social campaigns are optimized for conversions, lead generation, app installs, and brand growth.
  3. Advanced Measurement & Testing: Leverage incrementality testing, brand and conversion lift studies, MMM/econometrics insights, and MTA solutions to drive media effectiveness.
  4. Cross-Channel Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (strategy, analytics, effectiveness, creative, client servicing, CRO, and data visualization) to ensure holistic campaign execution.
  5. Stakeholder & Platform Management: Build strong relationships with QuickBooks' media, GTM, and analytics teams, as well as paid social platform reps (Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, etc.).
  6. Team Leadership & Development: Lead a team of 1x Account Manager, 1x Account Executive, and 1x Offshore Analyst - mentoring, coaching, and enabling them to reach their career goals.
  7. Budget Ownership & Forecasting: Oversee planning, forecasting, budget reconciliation, and spend efficiency, ensuring commercial consistency and alignment with client targets.
  8. Always-On & Peak Period Planning: Manage always-on campaigns while scaling efforts during key tax periods (January Self-Assessment & April New Tax Year).

What We're Looking For:

  1. Proven experience in B2B paid social media advertising, with a focus on performance marketing, lead generation, and app installs.
  2. Strong knowledge of Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok, Pinterest, and other social platforms.
  3. Strong understanding of advanced measurement methodologies, including brand/conversion lift, incrementality studies, MMM/econometrics, and MTA solutions.
  4. Ability to integrate paid social with wider digital strategies, collaborating with analytics, strategy, and creative teams.
  5. Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience in career development planning and team motivation.
  6. Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization dashboards.
  7. Experience managing large-scale, multi-million paid social budgets, ensuring financial accuracy and reconciliation.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while maintaining a collaborative and solutions-driven approach.
  9. Direct experience with B2B paid social is advantageous, but not a requirement.
