About the role
We have an amazing opportunity for a passionate Packaging Artwork Project Manager with expert project and graphic management experience for the Häagen-Dazs portfolio across both International and regional packaging projects, covering diverse markets and stakeholders. This role supports bringing the well-loved brand Häagen-Dazs to consumers globally. This unique role is part of the International Marketing function, where the team is responsible for guiding the Brand teams in new packaging design development, partnering with regulatory teams and graphic agencies to ensure brand guidelines, labelling mandatories and print technical guidance are managed from creative kick off.
What your role is
As the Packaging Artwork Project Manager, you will act as the trusted counterpart of our Graphics partners (Creative and Pre-press agencies) for efficient design to print, linking brand and graphics knowledge across all internal and external stakeholders. Managing 2 tracker meetings per week to engage all stakeholders in active planning and project actions.
You will project manage the kick off for formal artwork and pre-press process on behalf of the Brand Development Team (BDT), ensuring that all stakeholders are ready with their information and able to manage the process to achieve both efficiency and deadline.
You will manage efficient PCD implementation and communication across the artwork process, and manage Gclips actions on behalf of BDT, both input and approval (and in conjunction with Project Leader), plus any artwork challenges during Gclips process, bringing in appropriate stakeholders and providing solutions.
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Marketing and LRC colleagues to define Hard-Soft Pack changes approach and write off management across the full portfolio to ensure on-time and on-budget project completion. Also collaborating with the Plant team to manage local Market requests for packaging change, on behalf of feasibility and critical path, while managing synergies between projects to target minimizing costs, reducing complexity and balancing workload across the teams.
Train all new Marketing starters (BDT and Regional) across the International region on the overview of the graphics process. Collaborating with Graphics team colleagues to create and deliver bespoke training material on behalf of Häagen-Dazs Brand. Providing expert knowledge of the International Brand portfolio to the wider Global team.
What you will bring to the team
A real team player, energised and motivated by managing packaging projects to delivery, with a genuine interest in packaging design and preferably graphics management experience within an FMCG business. You will be process-driven and naturally organised, with a can-do attitude and used to managing a diverse workload while being able to navigate complexity and bring clarity.
