Job description

Our client, the Founder and Director of a London based contemporary art gallery showcasing the work of established and emerging artists, requires an experienced assistant to provide all round support across all her personal and professional needs.

Working from both the gallery in Soho and the principal's home in West London, as well as remotely when required, you will be a highly organized and pro-active PA with the ability to juggle multiple projects with ease and with impeccable attention to detail.

This is a PA role, not suitable for candidates wishing to progress to future gallery positions but ideal for a career PA with an interest and understanding of the art world.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Diary and Travel Management
  • Action/respond to emails/calls/invitations etc.
  • Gatekeeper to internal/external requests
  • Create and manage online filing systems
  • Liaise with gallery staff to ensure smooth running of the principal's schedule
  • Meet and greet visitors, clients, and artists
  • Work with accountants to manage invoices and expenses
  • Booking restaurants/meeting places
  • Arrange all personal appointments
  • Property and Car Management
  • Gifting and personal errands

Candidates must be/have:

  • 5+ years proven experience in a similar PA role
  • Experience in a creative environment, preferably with an interest/knowledge of the art world
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • First-class time management
  • Confidential, trustworthy, and discreet at all times
  • Positive, personable, and confident with clients
