P6 Claims Planner / Claims Analyst / Forensic Claims - Planning Team – Contract Role – Burghfield, Reading - Remote Working Available £500 per Day Inside or Outside IR35

The P6 Claims Planner / Claims Analyst / Forensic Claims Planner supports a commercial team by reviewing and challenging claims made by contractors about delays in a highly regulated industry. As the P6 Claims Planner / Claims Analyst / Forensic Claims Planner, you will be involved in:

• Delay Claims Assessment: Review contractors' claims about project delays, challenge inaccuracies, and suggest ways to minimise delays.
• Coaching and Collaboration: Guide the supply chain to follow processes consistently and work closely with project managers and commercial teams.
• Programme Analysis: Use planning tools (like Primavera P6) to track project progress, identify delays, and understand critical paths and float erosion.
• Claims Negotiation: Help resolve and negotiate claims for lost time.
• Construction Knowledge: Apply understanding of construction processes to assess and challenge time-loss claims.

As the P6 Claims Planner / Claims Analyst / Forensic Claims Planner, you will have:

• A background in engineering, construction, or project management.
• Expertise in delay analysis and NEC contracts.
• Hands-on experience with planning tools, especially Primavera P6.
• 5+ years in a planning role and at least 2 years in claims management.
• If you have experience in nuclear projects or M&E engineering, this is an added bonus, as is security clearance which you will need to be able to achieve if you don't have this already.

You would need to be onsite for the first couple of weeks, but after that, it's remote with some visits to site when required.
