Key Responsibilities

  1. Maximize sales through product display in line with Company guidelines and through commercial awareness.
  2. Ensure all new stock (clothing, shoes and accessories) is merchandised in accordance with the Company photographs provided, and in a timely manner.
  3. Replenish the shop floor (clothing, shoes and accessories) throughout the day as instructed by the Manager.
  4. Increase sales by continuously displaying the product in line with the latest trends of the season and customer needs.
  5. Assist with the training and development of all store employees on product knowledge, image, and collections.
  6. Liaise with the Regional Merchandiser and General Manager to carry out regular and appropriate floor moves in all sections.
  7. Maintain a high level of commercial awareness of forthcoming trends, colors, fashion, and competitors to drive store sales.
  8. Demonstrate commercial analyses and react to information.
  9. Provide feedback about the product to the Managers, Regional Merchandiser, and Head Office (VM Department, Accessories Department, and Shoes Department).
  10. Ensure adequate lighting in store to merchandise products effectively.
  11. Handle mannequins and display stock changes to guarantee the image of collections is up to date.
  12. Participate in store openings when required.
  13. Acknowledge customers and provide quality service either face to face or over the telephone.
  14. Complete other tasks as necessary to support the overall store.
  15. Assist Cashiers as requested.
  16. Ensure effective communication with the Management Team at all times.
  17. Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy at all times.
  18. Style mannequins and build outfits to meet commercial and brand image requirements.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous fashion retail experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Supervisory experience is desirable.
  • Previous mentoring and/or coaching skills are desirable.
