Owner Engineer - Structural Engineering - Primary Steel - Offshore Wind
NB: it is essential to have structural engineering experience in offshore wind. Ideally Primary Steel.

THE ROLE:
Owner Engineer for Leading Engineering Consultancy. Specialists in Foundations & steel design for offshore wind turbines - stress, FE, loads modelling and complete design of large offshore foundations eg. Jackets, Monopiles and steel towers.

This is a senior role in overall charge of design engineering. You will have a background in offshore wind structural engineering experience - for instance: detailed analysis and design of foundations in the offshore wind sector.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

1. Offshore Wind engineering experience - Structural engineering.
2. Mechanical / Structural / Civil Engineering degree.
3. Offshore wind turbine foundation design.
4. Primary Steel Structures eg Steel towers.

ADVANTAGE TO HAVE:

1. Owner Engineer / Project Manager / Engineering Manager experience.
2. Experience with Monopiles for Offshore Wind.
3. Experience with Secondary Steel for Offshore Wind.
4. T&I / Transportation & Installation for OWF experience.
5. Geotechnical knowledge.
6. Loads Analysis - offshore loading and dynamics of offshore wind turbine foundations.
7. Owner's Engineer, Package Management, Engineering Management or Contract Management experience.
8. Any certification from agencies such as DNV-GL, Lloyds Register, and Bureau Veritas.

NB: please note it is essential to have offshore wind structural engineering experience.
