The Club

The National is a world class, private golf club, providing unique member experiences on four golf courses across two sites at Cape Schanck and Long Island.

The Role

The National Golf Club is looking to engage casual Outside Services Assistants to join our friendly and dedicated team. Reporting to the Golf Manager, Golf Operations Manager, and Outside Services Coordinator, you will work alongside our highly motivated team, making a positive contribution to the Club.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibility as an Outside Services Assistant is the cleaning and maintenance of golf carts, members' golf clubs, and buggy storage. The role includes golf driving range maintenance tasks, such as attending to golf ball collection and other duties on the driving range.

You are expected to foster strong relationships with staff, members, and their invited guests, while communicating effectively with the management team to promote a positive work environment, ensuring adherence to all company policies and procedures.

About You

The successful candidate will have the following skills and background:

Experience and knowledge of golf preferred, however not essential
The ability to work under pressure in a busy and dynamic environment
Good communication skills
A sound understanding of workplace health and safety standards
Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required
Excellent organisational skills, displaying initiative and professionalism at all times
