Outreach Tutor - Kettering - Education and Training

Position: Part-Time Outreach Tutor
Location: Kettering
Pay Rate: Up to £160 per day (DOE)

About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Outreach Tutor to work with a teenage learner who has mental health needs and traits of autism. This rewarding role involves providing tailored educational support, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping the learner achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver personalized tutoring sessions to a teenage learner.
  2. Adapt teaching methods to meet the learner's individual needs and preferences.
  3. Build a supportive and understanding relationship to promote engagement and progress.
  4. Monitor and report on the learner's progress and well-being.

Requirements:

  1. A genuine passion for helping young people with learning difficulties and mental health needs.
  2. Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  3. Previous experience working with children with mental health needs and learning difficulties is desired but not essential.
  4. Ability to adapt and be flexible in your teaching approach.
