Hunter Gatherer AHP is searching for an experienced Outpatient Pharmacist for an NHS Hospital based in South East London. We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Outpatient Pharmacist to join our client's team at an NHS Hospital in South East London. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-focused environment, ensuring high-quality care is delivered to the community.

A Day in the Life of an Outpatient Pharmacist:
As an Outpatient Pharmacist at this NHS hospital, you will be responsible for managing the pharmaceutical needs of outpatients. You will provide expert medication advice, ensure safe dispensing, monitor patients' medication regimens, and work closely with the wider healthcare team to provide the best care. You will also be involved in outpatient screening to ensure patients receive appropriate medications, while maintaining high standards of practice and compliance with NHS policies and guidelines.

The role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality patient care is maintained. You will be responsible for:

1. Conducting outpatient medication reviews and screenings.
2. Dispensing and preparing prescriptions.
3. Offering counseling on drug therapies and potential side effects.
4. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient treatments.
5. Ensuring proper record-keeping and documentation.

You will have the support of an experienced team and access to ongoing training opportunities.

Requirements & Qualifications:

1. Must have outpatient screening experience within an NHS hospital outpatient setting.
2. Registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both patients and the healthcare team.
4. Proven experience in providing high-quality pharmaceutical services.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM
Contract Type: Locum role (minimum of 3 months) with a potential for extension based on performance and hospital needs.
