Your new role

The role will form part of a highly skilled team of Business Travel Consultants located from home. You will be joining us as a Business Travel expert with strong knowledge and experience of Galileo, and you will be booking Domestic & International travel requirements, arranging both routine and complex travel for air, rail, car, and hotel accommodation.

What You Need To Succeed

You must be a clear and confident communicator with confidence in dealing with people at all levels. You'll need to possess great organization and time management skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to own & manage your own workload, and it is essential you have previous Business Travel Consultant experience, with working knowledge of airline, rail fares and ticketing.

In the role of a Business Travel Consultant, each day is engaging and full of opportunities. You'll begin by aligning your daily objectives with our performance targets and client needs, setting the stage for a productive day ahead.

Your Typical Responsibilities Will Include

• Booking and managing complex travel itineraries, encompassing air, rail, car, and hotel accommodations using GDS systems such as Galileo.
• Providing tailored travel solutions to clients, ensuring cost-effectiveness and convenience.
• Handling client inquiries, offering expert advice, and resolving any travel-related issues swiftly.
• Continuously updating your knowledge of fare structures, travel regulations, and destination information to offer the best service.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to exceed service levels and meet performance targets.
• Collaborating with team members to share best practices and contribute to a positive, high-achieving environment.

Essential

• Previous 1 year working as a Business Travel Consultant at a TMC
• Strong knowledge of Galileo GDS System
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to consistently hit targets
• Experience of working in a target performance environment
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines fulfilling SLA Agreements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel creating and maintaining documents
