Role: OTBI and BI Publisher Developer

Duration:

6 months (View to extend to a year)

Location:

Remote - Belfast (Occasional travel based on need)

Skillset required:

1. Expertise in Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher.
2. Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
3. Familiarity with Oracle Fusion SaaS modules (e.g., HCM, ERP, SCM).
4. Experience in data modelling, subject areas and schema design.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
7. Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Key responsibilities:

1. Design, develop OTBI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
2. Leverage OTBI subject areas to create ad hoc queries, analyses and dashboards.
3. Ensure data accuracy and relevancy in OTBI Outputs.
4. Create and maintain BI Publisher reports using XML, RTF templates, and SQL queries.
5. Develop pixel-perfect reports and formatted outputs for printing or distribution.
6. Optimize report performance and troubleshoot issues.
7. Analyze business requirements and translate them into data models or reporting solutions.
8. Collaborate with functional teams to understand key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting needs.
9. Integrate OTBI and BI Publisher with Oracle Fusion SaaS modules (e.g., HCM, ERP, SCM).
10. Work with Oracle Data Models and subject areas specific to Oracle SaaS applications.
11. Optimize SQL queries and report designs for performance.
12. Maintain clear documentation for all reports, dashboards and BI processes.
