Job description

Job title: Operational Technology Cyber Specialist

Location: Warton. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £47,683 - £52,426

What you’ll be doing:
  1. Support the development and deployment of cyber security focused solutions within Operational Technology (OT) Environments.
  2. Support security control specification, standards, technologies and overall cyber secure design models within the OT domain.
  3. Provide definitive and expert advice in the specialist area of OT into other cyber security activities, such as incident response.
  4. Act as point of contact for senior stakeholders and influencers for cyber security activities within the OT space.
  5. Support the coordination the promotion, development, acquisition and implementation of security controls and services in close liaison with those responsible for management and strategy.
  6. Ensure system compliance with the internal standards and leverages other appropriate industry standard frameworks for support.
  7. Support the reporting and analysis of the cyber security metrics and KPIs gathered across the BEMS, Manufacturing and Engineering domains.

Your skills and experiences:
  1. An understanding of emerging cyber requirements and cyber security threats.
  2. A broad and comprehensive technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and technologies, with an interest/experience in Operational Technology.
  3. Strong understanding of government and industry standard security policy, standards and best practice guidance.
  4. Experience of working in an Operational Technology function and relevant field.
  5. Experience managing, controlling and reporting project deliverables to project stakeholders.

The Air Cyber Security team:

As a part of the Air Cyber Security team, you will be centrally placed within the Air Sector, and will be pivotal in providing support in delivering and operating the Air Sector cyber security services across the business.

As part of the Cyber Security Strategy for Air Sector, the team is aiming to deliver around 30 new services with the aim of enhancing Cyber Security Capability throughout the Air sector.
