Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Location: Stratford, East London

1 - 2 days working in the office

Salary: £45,700

Important note: must be available with a month notice or less.

A leading not-for-profit organization has an urgent need for a Learning and Development Partner to join them for a 12-month maternity cover FTC.

Reporting to the OD Manager, you will be given a wide-ranging and challenging remit. Your principal focus will be to deliver an effective organization development and learning strategy that meets the current and future needs of the business.

  • You will be responsible for the design and delivery of key initiatives aimed at sustaining and further developing both managerial and operational effectiveness. You must possess strong coaching skills and the ability to utilize assessment tools aimed at developing capability at all levels.
  • You will have supported the implementation of transformational change in a large complex multi-disciplinary environment, have strategic vision, and an ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • You will have experience of working with a performance management system to identify, design and deliver a range of strategic learning interventions, including the promotion of work-based learning, as well as evaluating the business benefits of a range of learning and organization development activities. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Organizational Development with a depth of expertise in best-class HR.
  • A CIPD qualification, coaching certification, or psychometric practitioner accreditation would be desirable, together with experience of organization development and learning theory.
  • You will have strong people management, interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication, and sound project management and organizational skills.

Experience needed:

  • Sound experience of conducting learning needs analysis, translating concepts into practical solutions and identifying appropriate learning interventions.
  • Outstanding consultancy and relationship management skills proven in a similar role/OD/HR context in order to analyze and respond to emerging needs, taking into account the impacts on operational delivery and ensuring that Learning and Development provides added value.
  • Previous experience of implementing large OD projects (full life cycle).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work collaboratively with HR professionals, L&D team and business stakeholders to build effective working relationships.
  • An ability to self-manage with a high level of energy and flexibility to manage a varied and demanding workload.
