Do you have a post graduate diploma in Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or an equivalent OD/L & D experience and/or qualification?

If this sounds like you then you could make a real difference in our Organisational Development team, to enable services to respond effectively to our organisational challenges and priorities, while also working in ways that role model our values and cultural aspirations.

The Opportunity

Salary: £46,731 to £49,764 per annum (£28,417 to £30,261 per annum, pro rata'd)

Contract Type and working pattern:

  1. 1 x Full time, 37 hours per week - Fixed term or secondment until June 2026, will consider part time opportunities
  2. 1 x Part time, 22.5 hours (3 days) per week - Permanent

Location: Hybrid working from home and County Hall, Chichester

As our Organisation and Development Consultant, you will also have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and expertise in many of the above subjects. This broad knowledge, as well as specific expertise, enables the team to work collaboratively and impactfully across our services, providing both bespoke and generic interventions when required, as well as informing strategy and policy.

What are we looking for?

As our OD Consultant, you will have the ability to:

  • Work proactively and think creatively in order to deliver desired outcomes effectively, efficiently and within timeframes.
  • Establish and maintain credible working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Deliver and receive feedback, both motivational and developmental, to enable reflective practice and ongoing learning for yourself and others.
  • Review workstreams and prioritise according to business needs - including responding to unexpected interventions with, potentially, short deadlines.
  • Reflect our values and our empowering culture in all that you do, including the way you work with others - focusing on abilities, enablement and solutions to achieve desired outcomes.

Most importantly, a 'can do', solution-focused attitude, with a drive to enable others, at all levels of the organisation, to be the best that they can be and provide a great service.
