Job description

Job Title: Oracle Functional Project Manager
Location: France (3 days onsite per week)
Contract Length: 12 Months
Start Date: ASAP
Day Rate: €700–€800 (all-in)

Overview:

We are currently supporting a client, who is looking for an experienced Oracle Functional Project Manager to join their team. The role sits within a small but busy functional team and will be instrumental in driving the successful delivery of multiple Oracle-related projects.

This is a highly autonomous role, suited to someone who thrives in environments where they can bring structure, visibility, and planning capability to a fast-moving programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the internal team and stakeholders to plan, organise, and oversee the delivery of multiple Oracle-related projects

  • Formalise client needs, define priorities, and help forecast capacity planning across various subjects

  • Manage timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure smooth delivery

  • Report regularly to the functional team lead and provide clear visibility on project progress

  • Act as a liaison with the insurance company's customer service team (call center) who manage calls from end customers

  • Bring clarity and structure to a programme currently lacking dedicated project oversight

  • Support planning and delivery across modules including Oracle OAC, APEX, and standard R12 modules

  • Ensure that Oracle best practices are followed, and that solutions are delivered in line with the DSI (Information Systems Department) governance model
