Job description

Axcis Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of schools across the Stockport area, starting after the Easter break. We have a range of roles available to suit different availability and career goals, including short-term, long-term, full-time, part-time, and day-to-day supply work. We work with a diverse selection of settings, including:

1. Primary Schools
2. Secondary Schools
3. Colleges
4. Mainstream and specialist SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) settings

Whether you're an experienced TA or looking to start a new career in education, we’d love to hear from you. Previous experience supporting children with SEND is highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supporting pupils with their learning and development
2. Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities
3. Working one-to-one or in small groups with pupils
4. Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
5. Supporting children with SEND as required

Requirements:

1. Enthusiastic, caring, and reliable
2. Flexible and adaptable to different school environments
3. Experience in education or childcare is desirable
4. Previous SEND experience is highly advantageous
5. A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
