We’re Severn Trent Services, a commercial arm of the Severn Trent Group. We provide water and waste services to companies nationwide, including the MoD and The Coal Authority.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

Working as an Operator covering the South Wales region. We are a dedicated team committed to maintaining and improving water quality standards across various sites. Join us in making a difference!

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on water treatment sites.
  2. Maintain and troubleshoot equipment like pumps, valves, and chemical dosing systems.
  3. Collect water samples to ensure compliance with regulations.
  4. Follow SOPs for safe and efficient operations.
  5. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and site performance.
  6. Collaborate with team members to enhance preventive maintenance plans.
  7. Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including PPE usage.
  8. Stay updated with industry best practices through training programs.
  9. Communicate effectively with business areas, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Essential: Troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, strong communication, commitment to safety, willingness to travel, passion for outdoor work, time management, flexibility for overtime and occasional weekends.
  • Desired (but not essential): Knowledge of water treatment processes, proficiency in water quality sampling, experience with water treatment equipment, excellent record-keeping.
