Job Description for Operations Technical Support Officer:

The Operations Technical Support Officer will be responsible for overseeing the management and safe execution of operational tasks within the facility, as a member of the Operations Delivery team. This position is based in the Active Handling Facility (AHF) and reports directly to the Production Delivery Team Manager.
The Operations Technical Support Officer will undertake a range of roles that are essential to supporting and facilitating operational activities. These roles encompass, but are not limited to, Task Supervisor, Originator (Person Organising Work), Sender/Receiver, PMP Author/PMP Manager, Lift Supervisor and Cave Coordinator.
Operations Technical Support Officers will cultivate essential skills to ensure the safe and compliant execution of operational tasks within our facilities. You will participate in the development and production of pertinent safety and assurance documentation to support a diverse range of both straightforward and complex on-site activities. You will hold hands-on responsibility and accountability for successfully delivering work on challenging operational projects and programs. Additionally, you will engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
