We are currently looking for 2 extra Operations Team Leaders to support the Production Managers for an increase in volume and expansion of the business at Ashbourne!

Responsibilities:
- Promotes the health and safety of oneself and others and deals with health and safety issues.
- Maintains and ensures Quality, Hygiene and productivity standards are maintained in the production environment.
- Reduces any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within your area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc.
- Responsible for the performance and speeds of lines with the aim of maximizing line efficiency.
- Monitor, control and report on the product quality of your area including product entering and leaving the area and the labeling of products.
- Responsible for effective shift change overs which includes paperwork and machinery.
- Effectively manage the resources to ensure minimum downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Liaise with all appropriate departments to ensure maximum efficiency and quality.
- Ensure development and training of operatives/Line Controllers.
- Support planning and implementation of the detailed daily production programme for relevant department, reporting potential variances and problems directly and promptly.
- Attend team meetings as required and contribute to good communication between management and operatives.
- Any other duties that are required.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Awareness of Food Manufacturing Industry.
- Good communication skills.
- A good level of the English language.
- Good PC skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good organizational skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Continuous improvement approach.
- Able to use own initiative.
- First Aid certificate or willing to undergo training.
