Title: Operations Production Supervisor – Waste and Recycling

Shifts: 7 AM – 5 PM, Monday – Friday

Location: Reading

Role: Operations Production Supervisor – Waste and Recycling

As the site supervisor, you will oversee a waste recycling facility handling plastics, paper, and metals, ensuring that KPIs are met while adhering to safety, ISO standards, environmental regulations, and company policies. Your responsibilities include developing the team to enhance processing efficiency and output, controlling staffing levels, and maintaining high performance standards. A hands-on approach is essential for this growing company.

Experience Required: Production Operations Supervisor – Waste Management & Recycling

You should have experience in a production, manufacturing, or materials processing environment with large machinery/conveyors in operation. Ideal backgrounds include Quarry, Aggregates, Concrete Block or Brick Production, Transfer Station, Waste Management, Metal Recycling, Asphalt Plant, Skip Hire, Scrap Metal, WEEE, Steel, Building Products, Timber, Biomass, Coal Mining, Minerals Extraction, MRF, MBT, or similar fields.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent man management skills
• Experience with FLT, 360 Excavator, or Loading Shovel is a plus
• IOSH, NEBOSH, COTC, and First Aid qualifications are desirable

Relevant Previous Roles: Quarry Supervisor, Asphalt Plant Manager, Metal Recycling Depot Supervisor, MRF Team Leader, MBT Plant Supervisor, Production Supervisor, Skip Hire Site Manager, Transfer Station Yard Manager, Waste Operations Supervisor, or similar.
