Salary: £66,900

What you'll be doing:

1. Management of a multi-functional team; Engineering, Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering.
2. Engagement with Air Functions to agree resourcing, training and development plans for team.
3. Engagement with international customers to agree new contracts, delivery dates and disputes.
4. Management of product non-conformance/issues; understanding of internal process, product awareness and supply chain to analyze root causes.
5. Stakeholder management across FalconWorks, Air business, Supply Chain (Internal / External) and International Customers.
6. This role has a significant impact on the ATS business being able to deliver its IBP commitments/growth.

Your skills and experience:

1. Degree qualified in a relevant discipline with proven experience in an Operational role (Operations excellence, manufacturing).
2. Background in batch Manufacture of Engineered products.
3. Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, data analysis tools, production measures and able to learn new toolsets.
4. Working independently without close supervision.
5. Membership of a recognised technical institute would be advantageous.

The Advanced technologies solution business team:
The management and forecasting of the annual non-labour cost base budget encompass site costs, maintenance, and utility services. Additionally, responsibilities include overseeing all ATS site operational and program security, as well as fulfilling the role of Registered Security Controller for the ATS business. Physical security is ensured through the management of security guards at the Towcester site. Safety measures are implemented via the SHE and Premises Plan, which includes environmental requirements. It is also essential to maintain a current and relevant Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Incident Management Plan (IMP) for the Towcester site. Furthermore, facilities and contractor management, in collaboration with Mitie, plays a crucial role. Preventative maintenance for all plant and equipment, along with overall facilities management, ensures operational efficiency.
