Job description

Operates LPG plant storage and production equipment and facilities in a safe and effective manner for product filling, loading operation and cargo receipt operation.

Responsibilities

The Employee will:

  1. Achieve zero LTI, fatalities and record-able incidents happened in the plant operation by following company and local guidelines, instructions, procedures and standards.
  2. Liaise with Shell CCR for LPG tanker unloading and the related operation in a safe and effective manner.
  3. Ensure LPG plant equipment and facilities operating in a safe and effective manner by following the company instructions, procedures and trade practices.
  4. Ensure the quality of packed LPG products and regulators to meet the company and local regulations and code of practices.
  5. Ensure filling plant contractors to follow company instruction and procedure in operating the filling equipment and facilities safely and effectively by intensive supervision.
  6. Plan, arrange and supervise the day-to-day work of the filling plant contractors to meet the business demand.
  7. Provide suggestions to the Plant Manager if any work arrangement, process, procedures can be streamlined to increase the plant operation efficiencies without compromising safety standards.
  8. Assist transport plant materials and product from one location to another designated location via manual or machine handling.
  9. Ensure stock control and plant security procedure to be fully implemented in LPG plant.
  10. Become the key member of LPG plant firefighting squad to provide assistance in dealing with emergency situations.
  11. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the LPG plant.
  12. Provide support to LPG plant operation in the odd hours or under adverse weather.
  13. Support LPG throughput business and AutoLPG business for increased cargo receipt and bulk tanker loading.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  1. Academic qualifications – Complete Form 5 education or equivalent qualification
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in handling LPG or similar nature of product
  3. Experience in working in plant or terminal is an advantage
  4. Fluent in Chinese, both writing and speaking (Cantonese).
  5. Ability to read/write and understand English

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  1. Holder of valid forklift truck driving license.
