Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

  • Support the Senior Merchandiser lead the Merchandising Operations function to deliver the annual Merch Ops strategy and roadmap
  • Support Senior Merchandiser with Ops planning analysis and mitigates risk to any fluctuations by sharing clear priorities and guidelines e.g. RTVs, priority requests
  • Monitors in season OTB alignment to planned regional strategies, supporting regional teams
  • Identify operational and process improvements to drive optimum supply chain efficiencies both up and downstream
  • Own RTV tooling, performance reporting, and meetings, working with B&M Managers to ensure EOY targets are achieved
  • Own Jira and non-compliance tooling, performance reporting and forums, working with B&M and Operations teams to ensure KPIs are achieved
  • Own the delivery catalogue report, tooling and Ops WSSI
  • Support smooth logistical movement of all stock including transfer stock, RTVs and restricted brands.
  • Key point of contact and senior stakeholder with internal teams and operational forums including S&OP meetings
  • Inform decision making with in depth end to end supply chain knowledge (inbound, internal processing, reverse logistics)
  • Work with internal teams to develop working processes and deliver best practice e.g. Buying, Upload, BI, Operations, Merch Projects, Tech, Compliance
  • Deliver high quality training to all buying and merchandising new starters
  • Able to create dynamic new reports and tooling using the Cube, MicroStrategy and reporting suites
  • Clear and comprehensible communication of KPIs e.g. DC SLAs, delays, Jira, priorities, RTVS
  • Manage, coach and develop the Junior Merchandising Operations team within FES competency framework
  • Challenge processes to ensure the team is working efficiently and effectively to support the business
