Site Services Co-Ordinator

Hatfield Distribution Centre, AL10 9US

Arla Foods are currently looking to recruit a proactive and competent Operations Manager to join our team at our Hatfield Regional Distribution centre. Our Hatfield site employs over 400 colleagues across the Fresh Milk and Pallet operation within the warehouse and the role will play a key part in the site’s Senior Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities involve improving efficiencies through continuous improvement & enhanced performance in line with the company's strategy & key performance indicators. The ability to develop people, identify talent & succession plan will be fundamental.

The main responsibilities for this role are:

  1. Lead, coach, manage & develop the day shift management team
  2. Communicate & deliver business goals, prioritising goals & activities as necessary
  3. Ensure compliance with company, customer & legal standards
  4. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal & external
  5. Proactively participate in strategic projects
  6. Responsible for daily labour planning
  7. Ensure compliance with delivery agreements from the production sites
  8. Participate in projects, courses and other development activities.

What we are looking for

The successful candidate will ideally be degree qualified with proven experience gained as a Senior Manager. People management skills are essential with proven successful experience with a warehouse background. We are looking for somebody from a FMCG environment, who has the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and has supply chain experience.
