Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a passion for delivering top-quality food products? We are looking for a dynamic leader to oversee operations at our fast-paced food manufacturing facility. In this key role, you will manage production, drive operational efficiency, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and champion continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Leadership: Manage a team operating across multiple shifts, ensuring efficient and cost-effective production of high-quality food products while prioritizing both product safety and team wellbeing.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Lead the implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and compliance with industry regulations.
• Food Safety & Quality: Collaborate with the quality and technical teams to maintain rigorous food safety standards (including HACCP) and ensure our products meet both legal requirements and customer expectations.
• Hygiene & Pest Control: Oversee hygiene practices and pest management systems to ensure the highest food safety and cleanliness standards are maintained across the facility.
• Engineering Maintenance: Work closely with the engineering team to ensure all equipment and machinery are maintained to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance, keeping production running smoothly.
• Training & Development: Build and maintain a highly skilled and adaptable workforce by identifying training needs, delivering key programs, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead the drive for process improvements by engaging teams in Kaizen initiatives and encouraging innovative approaches to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.

Skills & Experience:

• Food Manufacturing Expertise: Proven experience as an Operations Manager or Factory Manager in a fast-paced food production environment, with a solid understanding of food safety standards, quality assurance, and operational efficiency.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development, performance management, and motivating staff to deliver exceptional results.
• Passion for Food Quality: A commitment to delivering high-quality products and maintaining food safety and quality control at all stages of production.
• Continuous Improvement Mindset: A proactive approach to driving process improvements and operational excellence across all departments.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and lead safety and training initiatives.
