About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to lead a newly established Manchester division. This pivotal role offers the chance to shape and grow a regional business unit from the ground up, with a clear path into the Senior Management Team.

The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of recladding and fire remediation projects valued up to £20M, acting as Principal Contractor. The role requires operational leadership across multiple sites, commercial oversight, team development, and client relationship management.

Salary & Benefits

1. £75,000 - £90,000 basic salary, dependent on experience

Requirements

1. Proven experience in a senior operational role such as Operations Manager, Senior Contracts Manager, or similar
2. Strong background in facades, cladding, and external envelope systems, ideally including fire remediation projects
3. Experience delivering projects as Principal Contractor, with values up to £10m
4. Excellent knowledge of building safety regulations, CDM, and compliance requirements
5. Demonstrated ability to build, manage and lead high-performing project teams
6. Commercially minded with excellent client-facing and communication skills
7. Ambitious, proactive, and committed to building a successful regional presence
