Levy, proud catering and hospitality partner to The Jockey Club, is seeking an Operations Manager to join the team at Epsom Racecourse - home of the world-famous Derby Festival.
This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and experienced operations professional to deliver first-class hospitality experiences across a diverse and exciting calendar of events. From major race days to conferences, exhibitions, and private functions, no two days are the same.
More about the role:
- Lead and manage the operational delivery of all events, ensuring high standards of service and guest experience.
- Work closely with the culinary, sales, and planning teams to execute seamless event delivery.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing casual and core team.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.
- Monitor budgets, stock control, and labour costs, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including The Jockey Club and event partners.
About You:
- Proven experience in hospitality or event operations management - ideally in a venue or large-scale event environment.
- A natural leader who thrives under pressure and can motivate a team to deliver excellence.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Flexible and adaptable - available to work weekends, evenings, and major event days.
