The Role:
The College of Food at University College Birmingham is seeking an Operations Manager to join our innovative and ambitious team. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day commercial, facilities, estates, and practical operations of the Department; will contribute towards the upkeep and maintenance of high standards in food hygiene, organisation, and operational delivery; and will support internal, external, and corporate engagement, as well as brand management and promotion.
The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day practical operations of the College of Food, ensuring that all services are delivered efficiently, safely, and effectively. This is an innovative role requiring a proactive, strategic thinker with exceptional organisational and operational skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at problem-solving, process improvement, and fostering a positive working environment.
