Operations Manager

Superior Recruitment Group are working with a large client in Aberdeen, who are looking for an Operations Manager to join their Quality Services Team.

This role will be on a Hybrid Basis in Dyce.

The primary function of the Operations Manager will be maximising effectiveness and efficiencies within the execution of the company's production and/or services for relevant sectors of the industry and by managing and directing company staff within company policies and set objectives.

Key Duties:

1. Implement and monitor management system policies and procedures within his area of operations ensuring that policies and procedures are understood at all levels within the unit or department and that the procedures reflect current practice.
2. Ensure compliance within the assigned unit or department with all company and statutory procedures and standards including any defined recording and reporting procedures.
3. Ensure reporting and correction of any non-conformity and any suggested improvement.
4. Signal process efficiency improvement opportunities and assure implementation.
5. Promote the company's products and/or services to the clients.
6. Promote integrated relationship with clients and demonstrate accountability for the expected products and/or services. Provide best solutions.
7. Together with Quality Services Manager and BDM’s, define and implement a business approach based on strategy, to optimally account for market conditions (clients, segments, country legislation and culture, portfolio, competitors, suppliers…).
8. Review and improve quality of service or product delivery.
9. Monitor and ensure unit or department KPI's are challenged and achieved. Report progress and results against plan, make changes/corrective actions as required.

Experience:

1. Masters/Bachelor (or equivalent) education or previous experience within a relevant role (managing multidiscipline teams and projects).
2. Relevant industry experience, proven business development, operational, technical, commercial, managerial and administrative knowledge and skills.
3. Desirable: Experience of change management and business improvement/efficiency and transformation projects.
4. Desirable: Experience of ISO9001:2015, ISO17020:2012 ‘Type A’ Quality Management and Inspection Body standards.
