ROLE: Operations Manager

HOURS: 08:30-17:00 Monday - Friday Permanent Role

SALARY: £40,000 - £50,000 dependent on skills and experience

BONUS: Up to 20% on target Annual Bonus

BASE: Penny Emma Way site, Sutton in Ashfield

We are currently recruiting for a Conservatory Roofs Manager to join our team, managing the Conservatory Roof Office and Technical department. This is a pivotal role within the department offering technical advice, Engineer Support, Quotations and Order Processing for both our external Fabricators and internal Trade Branch Network.

What Our Conservatory Roofs Managers Do

1. Ensure that quotations and orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner against KPI targets
2. Provide accurate and timely quotations ensuring they are technically accurate
3. Manage and lead the department to ensure the service levels are met between both internal and external customers
4. Negotiate with customers to overcome any discrepancies with discounts and refunds
5. Manage and provide cost effective roofing solutions prior to fabrication
6. Report departmental KPI's on a Monthly basis, along with monitoring and coaching team performance
7. Assist with new product introductions and product upgrades
8. Build strong relationships with our Trade Branch and Profile customers to improve their quote conversions and customer expectations

What We Need From Our Conservatory Roofs Managers

1. Recognised qualification in Building Studies HND / ONC - desirable
2. Previous experience working within a building product field
3. Commercial knowledge and understanding of the sales process
4. Good knowledge of Extrusion and Fabrication
5. Previous experience of managing and developing a team
6. Good negotiation experience along with strong problem and decision making skills
