At Restaurant Associates, we inspire great experiences at some of the UK’s leading cultural and heritage destinations. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Operations Manager for a prestigious contract based in London.

Role Overview:

The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of our retail café, ensuring high standards of customer service, food quality, and cleanliness. In addition, you will be responsible for managing events, including private functions, weddings, and corporate gatherings, as well as conducting regular stock takes to monitor inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the café, ensuring excellence in service and food quality.
  • Manage and coordinate events, including private functions, weddings, and corporate events.
  • Conduct regular stock takes and monitor inventory to ensure efficient operations.
  • Understand and deliver all contractual terms, fostering a strong relationship with clients and day visitors.
  • Promote the venue effectively and act as a brand advocate.
  • Lead regular team meetings to ensure clear communication and expectations.
  • Encourage and utilise feedback to develop continuous improvement action plans.
  • Understand the financial aspects of the business and inspire confidence in your team.
  • Identify sales growth opportunities and collaborate with the team to implement strategies.
  • Motivate and drive the team to achieve revenue targets while measuring and providing feedback on progress.
  • Support the marketing strategy for the venue.
  • Ensure the team adheres to health, safety, and environmental compliance standards.
  • Effectively manage profit and loss statements.
