Launched in 2017, Vive are on a journey to create a Better-For-You Chocolate Empire. We manufacture delicious snack bars, that taste like your favourite confectionary (think Mars/Snickers) but are made from natural, wholesome ingredients. Our HQ is based at our brand new Chocolate Factory in Leicester, where you will be based.

About the role

We are looking for a superstar Operations Manager who can get our factory and all related operations running like clockwork, to allow the founder of the business to focus on strategic growth.

We're a small team and so you will have a lot of autonomy, influence and will be a key individual in shaping the future of the business.

What you'll be doing:

  • Continuous process improvement in all aspects of the business
  • KPI setting and monitoring performance
  • Overseeing and improving Quality Control processes
  • Project managing contract manufacturing projects
  • Production scheduling and planning
  • Managing two direct reports (warehouse manager and production manager)
  • Stock management/purchasing/sourcing new suppliers
  • Liaising with external engineers for line improvements, repairs and upgrades

Must Haves:

  • Operations experience in an FMCG/Food Manufacturing business
  • Knowledge of food manufacturing systems (BRC, SALSA, IFS etc)
  • Experience in KPI setting and monitoring
  • Excellent organisation and leadership skills
