Job description

Are you a highly experienced and professional Operations Manager with a proven track record in leading large teams? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, high-profile environment? If so, we want to hear from you!

We are looking for an Operations Manager to join one of the UK’s largest and most prestigious shopping centres. This is a senior leadership role that offers the opportunity to oversee and develop a diverse team while managing a wide range of services across soft services, environmental, tech services, and facilities management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, support, and motivate a large operational team of upto 170 inhouse staff to drive continuous improvement.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to visitors and tenants, ensuring their experience is seamless.
  • Collaborate closely with the Centre Manager to implement strategic operational objectives and deliver excellent services across all areas of the centre.
  • Oversee the implementation of Health and Safety platforms, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and safety standards.
  • Identify and support business development opportunities to maximise the operational efficiency of the property.
  • Manage and oversee soft services, environmental operations, and facilities management functions.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager, ideally in a retail or shopping centre environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop large, diverse teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and operational best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a drive for continuous operational improvement.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH certification and a diploma in Shopping Centre Management are highly desirable.
