We're looking for a dynamic Operations Finance Manager to elevate the performance of our clients FMCG business. Primarily based in the office with multi–site responsibility (occasional travel), this is a fantastic opportunity for a financial professional who enjoys being 'boots on the ground' and heavily involved with driving decision making.

1. Oversee financial performance and ensure robust variance analysis to optimize operations.
2. Lead period and year–end closures, ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial transactions.
3. Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans with accountability at the site level.
4. Provide decision support for operational performance, capex appraisals, and efficiency initiatives.
5. Champion continuous improvement and best practices in financial processes across sites.
6. Manage stock control processes to enhance accuracy and cash flow forecasting.

1. Qualifications such as ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified, with a strong foundation in financial and operational management would be preferred.
2. Experience in finance leadership, preferably within food manufacturing sectors but similar industries considered (fresh produce, horticulture, pharma manufacturing or similar).
3. Advanced Excel proficiency, ERP systems expertise, and exceptional communication abilities.
4. Ability to inspire and develop teams while driving accountability and excellence.

1. Competitive salary of up to 75,000 depending on experience.
