Position Overview:

As an Operations Director with DHL Supply Chain, you will lead on strategic initiatives in budget and resource management, operational performance, and talent development, while adeptly interfacing with customers to negotiate and resolve their requirements. In this pivotal role, you will establish annual and multi-year priorities and growth targets for each opportunity, skillfully balancing the diverse needs of multiple sites and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. People Leadership: Champion deep team engagement, fostering a sense of ownership and commitment among team members, ensuring they are fully aligned and invested in our shared vision.
2. Operational Leadership: Run world-class safe operations that deliver value through a clear continuous improvement agenda to ensure that we always delight our customers.
3. Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary interface for customer negotiations and issue resolution, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance and deepen customer relationships.
4. Contract Negotiation: Lead customer contract negotiations and manage third-party supplier negotiations, all while maintaining strict budget oversight.
5. Business Strategy Development: Connected to industry trends and market forces, formulate and execute plans to grow your business area.
6. Complex Problem Solving: Champion cooperation and partnership to provide integrated solutions to complex problems.
