Markets Operations Belfast Overview:

Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business. We support a wide range of internal stakeholders alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience.

Role Overview:

The Department’s primary responsibility is to manage effectively all correspondent cash balances and to negate the cost of overdrawn or excess balances to the corporation. The group manages all bank and correspondent accounts to ensure optimal financing.

What you’ll do:

• Serve as analytical or procedural expert for escalation and resolution of complex queries and problem solving.
• Act as a lead in the development of new processes and streamlining of existing cash management workflows.
• Maintain and build professional relations with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Capable of effective escalation in line with risk-based protocols.
• Provide training and leadership to junior staff.
• Take lead in line with re-engineering team objectives, managing projects from inception to completion.
• Ability to self-manage personal development in line with goals and personal development plan.
• Act as lead on internal escalation and liquidity planning for multiple currencies across the firm.

What we’ll need from you:

• The candidate is expected to be dynamic, flexible, and a quick learner.
• Prior experience in an operations role.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze large sets of data.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
