Operations Assistant
Bournemouth

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established but growing local company within the manufacturing industry.

The Role:
  • Work within the Operations Team conducting and supporting the wider team with tasks such as purchasing, booking in goods, labelling, stickering, kitting, assembly, and general warehouse duties.
  • 50/50 between being office-based and factory/warehouse based.
  • Purchasing of raw material to specification.
  • Purchasing of consumables and factory ad hoc items when required.
  • Booking goods in on the ERP / MRP system, and responsible for the accurate data input.
  • Responsible for labelling products and storage control of finished goods within the warehouse.
  • Loading vehicles safely by forklift truck.
  • Placing orders for Sub-Contract activities.
The Candidate:
  • Experience in using an ERP / MRP system is desirable.
  • Experience in goods inward or material inspection would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience in purchasing within a production setting would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience operating a counter-balance forklift truck is essential. Forklift certification would be highly advantageous.
