O&M Engineer

Full time, Permanent

Wadebridge, Cornwall

Our client has been in operation for over a decade, designing, building and operating systems in the renewable energy sector. They have projects in locations across the UK and have more to come.

This is an exciting time for the organisation, and they are seeking an experienced O&M Engineer to join them on this journey.

As an O&M Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:

  1. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on all asset managed renewable energy sites.
  2. Reviewing and monitoring all asset managed renewable energy sites, via online portals, on a rota basis, including weekend cover.
  3. Identifying, recording, and responding to faults, with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
  4. Providing feedback on site performance to make improvements to ongoing operation.
  5. Completing daily job reports.

For your application to be successful, you must have the following skills and experience:

  1. Minimum 2 years’ experience of working on commercial PV systems.
  2. Methodical, accurate and process focused approach.
  3. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  4. Computer Literacy.
  5. Driving License.
  6. Flexibility for working throughout the UK, including evenings and weekends.

Desired Skills:

  1. Inverter manufacturer training.
  2. CAD experience.
  3. Experience in communications set-up and configuration.
