Are you an Operations Manager with a strong background in Health and Safety within the construction sector, eager to propel your career in the rapidly expanding renewable energy sector and contribute to achieving net zero?

This award-winning company specializes in the supply, design, and installation of Solar PV and other renewable systems to commercial, industrial, and agricultural properties. With the renewable sector expanding rapidly, 2024 was a hugely successful year for the company. They now wish to appoint an Operations and H&S Manager to facilitate future success and continue on the upward trajectory.

In this role, you will be responsible for Health & Safety, installation quality, and operational delivery across the business. You will also manage the Operations Support Team, promoting skill development and leveraging AI to enhance efficiency and maintain high standards.

This role would suit a seasoned construction professional with a strong operational and H&S background, ideally with experience working with rooftop solar. You should hold a NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate qualification and have proven leadership/management experience.

The Role:

1. Lead and manage H&S across the business, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and high standards are met.
2. Responsible for training across the business; identifying needs that will benefit individuals and the business, and ensuring all staff hold necessary qualifications.
3. Manage and grow the operational team in line with business needs.
4. Lead compliance and quality across the business.
5. Predominantly office-based.

The Person:

1. Proven background in Operations and H&S.
2. Strong experience within the construction sector.
3. NEBOSH and/or Construction Certificate.
4. Leadership and management experience.
5. Passionate about renewable energy.
