Operations Administration Support (Maternity Cover) - Edinburgh City Centre

£27,500 | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Full-Time

Our client, a leading professional services firm, is looking for dedicated Operations Administration Support to cover maternity leave. The Role: What You'll Be Doing

As an Operations Administration Support, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality administrative support, ensuring smooth operations across the business.


  • Document Management & Preparation - Create and format letters, reports, proposals, and presentations to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Digital Document Signing - Oversee the signing of financial statements via Docusign.
  • Compliance & Onboarding - Conduct Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks for new clients.
  • Expense & Mileage Processing - Assist with the submission and tracking of claims.
  • Front-of-House & Administrative Support - Manage mail, greet clients, and coordinate office activities.
  • Diary & Meeting Coordination - Support internal teams by scheduling and organising meetings.
  • Audio Transcription - Occasionally transcribe dictated notes with accuracy.
  • Efficiency Improvements - Work alongside the Operational Support Team on projects to streamline processes.

What We're Looking For

  • Exceptional Organisation & Attention to Detail - You can juggle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong Communication Skills - Both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with stakeholders confidently.
  • Tech-Savviness - Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; experience with Outlook and Teams is a bonus.
  • Proactive Problem Solver - You take initiative, think ahead, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience in Administration/Support - Prior experience in document processing is essential, ideally within a professional services environment.
