Operations Administrator

12 month fixed term contract
Monday - Friday: 9am - 5pm

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Administrator at our Telford site. The purpose of this role is to assist and provide administration support to the Operations Team.

Please note, this position is for a fixed term duration of 12 months.

Operations Administrator Main Tasks And Responsibilities Include:
  1. Compiling agendas and documentation for meetings and distributing to attendees.
  2. Attend and compile minutes for Operations Management Team meetings as and when required and follow up accordingly.
  3. Compilation and submission of monthly reports.
  4. General office management duties including filing, photocopying, document archiving, stationary ordering, replenishment, and relevant invoicing.
  5. Implementing and maintaining efficient digital filing systems.
  6. Updating the site notice boards.
  7. Supporting with the preparation and logistics of technical and external audits.
  8. Organisation of meetings, coordinating meeting room bookings and refreshments, and ensuring facility requirements are met for both internal team and external suppliers.
  9. Diary management for the Head of Operations.
  10. Updating time and attendance records for the Operations Management Team, as well as managing the annual holiday planner.
  11. Handling telephone calls and fielding general enquiries, connecting people to the right team members on site.
  12. Management of invoices.
  13. Using SAP, raising purchase requisitions and purchase orders to complete the payment process and liaising with suppliers in respect of queries.
  14. Act as the facilitation link between Corporate and Operational communications at site which are required to be cascaded to site employees.

To Be a Successful Operations Administrator, We're Looking For:
  1. Numerate and literate to a high standard with advanced ability in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  2. Strong ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise own workload whilst working in a busy pressurised environment.
  3. Experience with using SAP (desirable).
  4. People focused, comfortable working across and building relationships at all levels, from factory floor to Leadership Team.
  5. Experience working in a busy environment, supporting a high variety of administrative tasks.
  6. Able to create simple, engaging and informative content for notice boards, newsletters, and site screens.
