What is the job role?
Come and join us at an exciting time and be part of the Professional Support Service’s journey. We are a team that works with colleagues at all levels across Children’s Services to contribute to positive outcomes for some of the most vulnerable Children and Families across the City. This role will be based in Responsive Services, which includes the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub and the Child Exploitation Team; forming the front door to Children’s Services. It is a fast-paced, energetic, and exciting area to work in, where you will be part of a close-knit team ensuring the very start of the child’s journey within Children’s Services is the best it can be.
In this role, you will be responsible for handling calls from both professionals and members of the public, actioning and responding to emails, minuting various professional meetings, updating case management systems, and working in a fast-paced environment. You will promote a positive working culture where Children are at the heart of everything we do.
This post is 29.5hrs per week and a fixed-term contract until 31/03/2026 initially. Due to service needs, the working pattern of the successful candidate will be:
Mon: 8:30 – 17:00
Tues: 8:30 – 14:00
Weds: 8:30 – 13:00
Thurs: 8:30 – 13:30
Fri: 8:30 – 16:30
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such, appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
