Operational Risk Manager

Job Description

InterQuest are supporting a well-established financial services organisation in identifying an Operational Risk Manager to join the business based in Manchester. This exciting opportunity would lead on the 2nd line management of the firm's risk framework ensuring all key risks are being managed.

The role would join a well-established team in a very visible role within the organisation, working closely with the Head of the role. This position offers excellent career progression and hybrid working (3 days per week).

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate with other second line risk and compliance teams to complete assurance and monitoring activity.
• Provide risk input, support, challenge, and guidance on the risks within key business projects.
• MI reporting surrounding risk committee packs.
• Lead on the completion of risk assessments, embedding ownership of risk identification, assessment, management, and monitoring within the first line.

Minimum Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of risk frameworks within retail/consumer lending.
• Strong operational risk experience including RCSAs/KRI reporting etc.
