Your Contribution To Prysmian's Success

We are looking for an Operational Purchasing Buyer to join our team in Middlesbrough. Reporting to the Operational Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Develop, update and execute the procurement plan within the assigned commodities related to HV installation perimeter.
• Manage the procurement plan guaranteeing compliance with budget, timing, contractual requirements; Drafting bidder lists, analyzing offers, negotiating prices and discussing contractual conditions with the support of internal clients departments.
• Identify saving and improvement opportunities in terms of costs, process, quality, service, etc.
• Promote Purchasing early involvement and support; Implement purchasing procedures and processes.
• Scout the market to expand suppliers basis for strategic commodities; Perform spent analysis and market evaluation.

You Are The Right Fit If You Have/are

• Ideally hold previous experience within Purchasing function.
• Preferably experience developed into multinational companies.
• Determined, enthusiastic and committed to manage complexity and challenges.
• Excellent team building attitude.
• Good communication skills and strategic mindset.
• Proficiency in English, Italian is a plus.
• Familiar with SAP system.
